Vintage Stitchers

Outreach

Vintage Stitchers is an active group with many programs supporting the community. We have members who support the Inside Stitchers, Cole's Quilts, Oakland Children's Hospital, and Operation MOM. If you have an idea for an Outreach Program contact Pam.

Cole's Quilts:

Thanks to all of you who donated some of your precious stitching time to Haley and her family.

Alameda County Fair:

We will once again do Community Outreach at the Alameda County fair. We have 3 days that we will be there, to get information about our chapter out to the public. The dates that we will be there are: Friday, July 10th, Saturday, July 11th and Saturday, July 18. Please stop by if you are at the fair any of those dates and say howdy to our volunteers.

Operation MOM:

We are collecting items to send to the troops for Operation MOM. This will be an ongoing community outreach project.  We will have a box at every meeting to put the items in, and a "kitty" to collect money to help pay for shipping costs.

A Little Touch of Home is a local service project to communicate to our service personnel our gratitude for serving our nation and that they are not forgotten. Items must be individual or sample sizes or individually wrapped. They will be assembled in the following boxed categories: personal hygiene, food items, and fun items.
